What is HorseAWho?

HorseAWho is a community for sharing funny horse images and visitors can add captions for the images. The site was created to help the hard working horse rescue facilities.  Their dedication for saving horses is never ending and very difficult. They rely on donations to help the neglected and abused horses. Please donate what you can to help the horse rescues here on HorseAWho. Your donation will help rescued horses live the life they deserve.

How do I know the Horse Rescue Facility is getting the donation?

The donation links provided here on HorseAWho are a direct link to their designated company for receiving donations. You will see their information listed on the donation page.

Why do I need to give an email when adding a HorseAwho caption?

We need the information for verification of sender. We do not show or share your email information with anyone.

Can I copy the images on HorseAWho?

No!

All images on HorseAWho are copyrighted by the submitting individuals. You must obtain the image from the provided link if one was supplied or you must contact the image owner for permission to use their image. If no owner information is provided then the image may NOT be used at all.

Can I submit an image to share?

Yes!

Please do share your funny image here on HorseAWho for all to enjoy.  Make sure to read the Terms of Use for information on restrictions and requirements on image submission.

Why do I need to edit the image before I submit it to HorseAWho?

The smaller images will upload faster and load faster when being displayed. This will make the process a lot easier to keep the site maintained. You can email your information and image to us and we will edit the image as needed. If you are not sure on how to edit your image please submit it to support at funnyhorse.org

How do I edit the size of my image?

You can use Picnik on line free of charge to edit your image. It is extremely easy to use for editing your image. Please resize your image to be no larger than 500 Pix max in either direction.

If I share my image here on HorseAWho to help horse rescues get exposure can I have a link to my image?

Yes!

If your image is for sale at another website or just want a link to the image uploaded. Please provide the URL when you submit your image and we will link it. All links will be checked. If link is inappropriate it will not be used.

What are the icons I see under the images?

The icons are to link the image to a website where the image  maybe used or purchased. Please respect the copyrights of the contributing members here on HorseAWho.

Can I add a HorseAWho caption?

Yes!

What happens when we vote on a HorseAWho caption?

When you vote on a HorseAWho caption for an image the votes are added up. The HorseAWho caption with the most thumbs up votes gets placed under the image. It remains there until a new one gets more votes. So please share the link to your HorseAWho caption with your family and friends to vote on. Just maybe you will have the best HorseAWho caption.

I submitted a HorseAWho caption why do I not see it?

All HorseAWho captions submitted are reviewed by management for approval. If any captions are questionable as to content they will not get approved. Remember that this website is about saving abused and neglected horses. Please only submit a HorseAWho caption that is fitting for all to enjoy.

I see an image that I own and I did not submit it. How do I get it removed?

Please use the contact page. Let us know what page the image is on and where you have the image poster proving ownership. If indeed it is your image and you would not like to help the efforts of HorseAWho in helping Horse Rescues we will immediately remove it from the website.

IMPORTANT WARNING: HorseAWho will never email you asking for your credit card information nor does HorseAWho take any credit card information from its site.

If anyone sends emails posing as HorseAWho asking users to update their credit card information please delete these emails and do not respond to them. If you did respond you will want to notify your credit card company. This type of email scam is called Phishing. Please see http://www.us-cert.gov/nav/report_phishing.html
